the surf today was sick. 6-8ft offshore at polzeath. was a bit bad at the beginning. the bigger sets were really hard to catch. later on it got better and better. everyone was getting like 14-16s rides and more. tomoz the swells not so big but hopefully the offshore wind will help. didn't get an easter egg, didn't see the easter bunny so without the good surf i wud have been a bit pissed.

deceiving surf report

as your saw from the surf report pic this morning we were expecting the surf to be sick. so we got in the car and as you can see boomerang was stoked. as we arrived at watergate the waves looked average and we thought its obviously just the turn of tide (watergate turn of tide is shit). so after like half an hour in the water nothing much had changed, it was big (5-8ft) but just breaking far out and not the perfect clean surf we were expecting. i thought lets just give it time but nothing really changed (there was a massive sand bank which it was hitting). anyway like after about an hour and a half of ducking diving the early breaking sets and patiently waiting for the waves to improve it started to get dumpy so i came in. got back home and checked the surf...6ft peeling waves.

EASTER SWEEELL

beach boys

easter breeaakk

thursdays surf saw small little lines down at constantine. we needed to just pass the time till the swell came through on friday afternoon. i packed ma to boards, 6,4 webber (i know on a 1 foot swell day but im only small) and ma 6,0 fluid juice (minus the fins). the temp was up to f**kin 9 degrees and it was pretty much t-shirt weather :/
surf was alright -->> surfing no fins was different -->> also fell into a school of big ass fish
